I started a blog!

Nathan Karsgaard

There. I said it. Now it has begun.

I’m not sure what this blog will be about yet. But, I know this.

  1. I am a creator. I need to be creating something all the time. I feel like a blog may be a good way to satisfy this need.

  2. I want to get better at writing. I like writing. I like telling stories. I don’t feel like I’m very good at it yet and I want to improve my skills and abilities.

  3. I want to connect with like minded people and I think that I can do this through sharing my thoughts and ideas.

  4. I like to explore. I am not afraid to fail.

  5. I don’t want to make more stuff. It is too easy to design and sell cheap t-shirts or meaningless swag that nobody really needs. So, by putting my creative energy into a blog I’m not creating more waste. (Although time—mine and yours—has not been included in this. I can imagine wasting a lot of your time.)

  6. I like learning. Writing seems like a great way to learn about myself and topics in which I’m interested. I can play with, synthesize and analyze ideas while I try to figure things out for myself.

  7. I am interested in the people who make up the Folk & Wild community and want to engage with you.

Phew. That’s a start.

Since you stumbled upon this post, let me know what you think. I am interested in hearing from you as much as writing about myself. What do you think would be interesting to hear about?
